Con 85 A di corrente di carica questo SmartSolar si colloca nella fascia alta dei regolatori MPPT Victron Energy. Il collegamento del campo fotovoltaico avviene su connettori MC4, senza passare da morsettiera.
La conversione sfrutta l’algoritmo di inseguimento più rapido della gamma per trasferire al banco batterie quanta più energia possibile. Anche una batteria molto scarica può essere recuperata: il regolatore parte con tensioni vicine a 0 V, a condizione che le celle non siano solfatate o danneggiate in modo irreversibile.
L’interfaccia VE.Can permette di collegare l’apparecchio agli altri dispositivi del sistema.
