Lo Smart BatteryProtect sorveglia la tensione della batteria e apre il collegamento verso i carichi non essenziali prima che la scarica diventi dannosa o che venga a mancare l’energia necessaria ad avviare il motore.
Le soglie di intervento e di ripristino si impostano liberamente dall’app via Bluetooth; in alternativa se ne sceglie una fra nove predefinite usando il pin di programmazione, come spiega il manuale. Il Bluetooth, se non serve, può essere disattivato.
L’apparecchio è unidirezionale: la corrente scorre solo dal morsetto IN verso il morsetto OUT e non può gestire nello stesso momento erogazione e carica. Con un’utenza si collega la batteria al morsetto IN; quando invece a monte c’è un caricabatterie, è quest’ultimo ad andare sul morsetto IN.
