Descrizione
Il comportamento che si nota per primo è la velocità: se la sorgente esterna viene a mancare, il MultiPlus-II passa in erogazione da batteria nel giro di millisecondi e l’elettronica di bordo continua a funzionare senza interruzione.
Attorno a questo si articola il resto. Sono presenti due uscite in alternata, utili dove servono separazione e ridondanza in un sistema ESS; PowerControl impedisce di superare il limite di corrente della presa di banchina o del generatore, PowerAssist copre invece i picchi attingendo alle batterie. La sezione di carica arriva a 70 A e lavora con un algoritmo adattivo pensato per allungare la vita del parco batterie.
L’apparecchio è indicato dal costruttore per impieghi professionali in nautica, su veicoli e in impianti off-grid a terra, e regge il funzionamento in parallelo o trifase quando l’impianto cresce. Per un breve periodo è stato venduto con la denominazione MultiGrid-II.
