La caratteristica che distingue il MultiPlus-II sono le due uscite in alternata, che permettono di separare i carichi da mantenere sempre attivi da quelli che possono restare fermi. La stessa impostazione fornisce l’isolamento e la ridondanza richiesti dai sistemi ESS.
PowerControl impedisce di sovraccaricare la rete di banchina o il generatore, mentre PowerAssist aggiunge potenza nei picchi di richiesta. Se la sorgente esterna viene a mancare la commutazione avviene in pochi millisecondi, tempo abbastanza breve perche’ computer e apparati sensibili non se ne accorgano. La sezione di carica lavora con un algoritmo adattivo che unisce rapidita’ e rispetto della batteria.
Il modello 48/10000/140-100 accetta in continua da 38 a 66 VDC, eroga 230 VAC e carica fino a 140 A, con rendimento del 96%. Si puo’ mettere in parallelo o in configurazione trifase quando l’impianto deve crescere. Cassa in acciaio, IP22, 49 kg. Per un breve periodo questo prodotto e’ stato commercializzato come MultiGrid-II.
