Quando la presa di banchina o il generatore non bastano, il MultiPlus-II interviene in due modi: PowerControl limita l’assorbimento per non farli andare in sovraccarico, PowerAssist aggiunge potenza dalle batterie nei picchi di richiesta.
È un inverter/caricabatterie con due uscite in alternata, impiegato anche negli impianti ESS per l’isolamento e la ridondanza che offre. Al mancare della rete la commutazione avviene in millesimi di secondo, senza che computer ed elettronica sensibile ne risentano. Il caricabatterie usa un algoritmo adattivo che unisce rapidità e rispetto della batteria.
Questa configurazione è a 24 V e 5000 VA, con caricabatterie da 120 A, rendimento del 96%, protezione IP22 e 30 kg di peso. Sono previsti il collegamento in parallelo e il funzionamento trifase. Per un breve periodo lo stesso apparecchio è stato commercializzato come MultiGrid-II.
