Se la rete di banchina o il generatore non reggono l’assorbimento richiesto, PowerControl riduce la corrente prelevata e PowerAssist integra la differenza attingendo alle batterie: è il modo in cui questo apparecchio evita che un ingresso limitato a 32 A blocchi l’impianto.
Alla base c’è un inverter-caricabatterie a 24 V da 3000 VA con due uscite in alternata, destinato a impieghi professionali nel settore marino e dello yachting, sui veicoli e negli impianti off-grid a terra, oltre che alle configurazioni ESS che richiedono separazione e ridondanza. La corrente di carica arriva a 70 A ed è governata da un algoritmo adattivo che allunga la vita delle batterie.
Al venir meno della sorgente esterna il passaggio all’inverter richiede pochi millisecondi, senza interruzione per computer e apparecchi elettronici. L’apparecchio può essere messo in parallelo o in trifase quando l’impianto deve crescere; per un certo periodo è stato venduto come MultiGrid-II.
