Descrizione
Il MultiPlus-II 2x120V è costruito attorno agli impianti nordamericani in split-phase da 50 A a 120/240 V CA. Alimentato da banchina o da gruppo elettrogeno, accetta e lascia passare entrambe le linee della sorgente, sfruttando i 50 A pieni sia per la carica sia per le utenze.
Con una sorgente monofase a 120 V lavora sull’ingresso L1, che provvede alla carica e al passaggio diretto, mentre le uscite L1 e L2 vengono unite per fornire 120 V su ciascuna linea. Se non c’è alimentazione in alternata l’apparecchio passa in inverter, sempre a 120 V monofase, collegando internamente le due linee: in qualunque condizione entrambi i lati del quadro si trovano così alimentati a 120 V.
I 240 V CA restano invece disponibili soltanto quando l’alimentazione proviene da una sorgente split-phase 120/240 V. È una scelta voluta, che impedisce a carichi importanti come uno scaldacqua o un condizionatore a 240 V di scaricare le batterie.
