Rispetto alle taglie minori l’800 mette a disposizione più potenza mantenendo lo stesso schema: ingresso a 12 V dalla batteria, uscita a 230 V su presa IEC, dialogo con il resto dell’impianto tramite VE.Direct.
Il rendimento dichiarato è del 90%. Lo chassis è in acciaio con copertura in plastica, il grado di protezione IP21, il peso di 5,5 kg e il campo di temperatura di esercizio va da -40 a 65 °C. Per il comando a distanza è previsto un morsetto a vite a due poli.
