Descrizione
Il MultiPlus-II 2x 120 V risponde agli impianti nordamericani split-phase 120/240 V da 50 A con un solo apparecchio. Che l’alimentazione arrivi dalla banchina o da un generatore, entrambe le linee vengono accettate e ritrasmesse, con la possibilità di sfruttare l’intera portata da 50 A sia per la ricarica sia per i carichi in alternata.
Con una sorgente monofase a 120 V lavora invece il solo ingresso L1, mentre le uscite L1 ed L2 vengono unite per servire i carichi. In assenza di alimentazione esterna l’apparecchio passa in inversione: anche in quel caso L1 ed L2 restano collegate internamente, così che entrambi i lati del quadro si trovino a 120 V.
I 240 V, va precisato, sono disponibili soltanto quando a monte c’è una sorgente split-phase 120/240 V. È una scelta voluta: impedisce che utenze pesanti come boiler o condizionatori a 240 V si mettano a scaricare le batterie.
